Which Micro Scooter for Which Age?

Not sure which one? The Mini2Grow (12 months to 6 years) starts with a seat, the Mini Micro (2 to 5) is the classic first scooter, and for 5 year olds and up there’s the Maxi Micro or the two-wheel Sprite (both 5 to 12). Our guide to which scooter for which age has more help.

Micro scooters are sized by age, so the right one depends on how old your child is and how confident they are. Here’s how the range steps up:

12 months to 6 years: the Mini2Grow Deluxe LED starts as a ride-on with a seat and parent push bar, then becomes a three-wheel scooter.
2 to 5 years: the Mini Micro Deluxe LED is the classic first scooter. Two wheels at the front keep it steady, and they lean to steer.
5 to 12 years: the Maxi Micro Deluxe LED is the big-kid version, with the same lean-to-steer. It’s the easy step up from a Mini Micro and the best scooter for most 5 year olds.
5 to 12 years, two wheels: the Sprite LED steers like a bike and folds with a kickstand, for children ready for two wheels.
